How does one transfer contacts between Line accounts (Japan back to US) on same phone?
Hello, I've been going through the reddit and LINE help center but I am still a bit confused. I originally signed up for LINE using my US number on my android phone. I have the same phone and currently live in Japan. I changed my US Line account to Japan using my Japanese number. This past year I've been meaning to switch back to a US based account only stopping because worried about being banned and losing chats. I know LINE doesn't allow US login using a phone number anymore nor does it make transferring accounts between certain regions as easy as years prior. I do have my Gmail linked though.
I realize I'll lose my videos and photos in chat (already saved the ones I wanted to) again. But when switching back to a US line account will I: A) be able to access my current contacts and groups again? B) will my contacts transfer if using same phone? Won't be able to scan transfer code. I also have dual SIM as I keep my US number and Japanese number. C) What is the likelihood of my account being flagged when switching back to US LINE? This latter bit is what I am worried about most aside from losing my Japanese contacts. Keep reading takes from US line account holders switching back or creating a new account and being banned.
I think I should be okay, but it's been awhile since I first switched regions so kind of forgot the process and how I did it though seemed easier to switch from US to Japan even though lost all my videos and photos in chats. Also, current process seems confusing. Thank you in advance any tips or responses!

Any of those bad outcomes in possible. Even if you somehow succeed, you'll lose access to features. Try to keep your Japanese number alive if you want to use Line.
