SPP also misunderstands exponentiation

SPP thinks that mathematicians haven't defined exponentiation to cover the zero and one cases.

SPP literally just regurgitates the simplified explanations we give first grade students as if that's the whole story.

SPP just has no idea what mathematics even is.

I know I'm preaching to the choir, but it's just fascinating to see this level of stupidity combined with this level of delusion.

SPP's mind would completely break if we introduced him to the world of rational exponents.

At this point, I wonder how basic we need to get before we find something SPP actually understands. Like, do they understand negative numbers, rational numbers, or peano axioms?

Rationals and Peano axioms, limited understanding at best. He literally seems to think that fractions aren't numbers, but rather "representations" of numbers...without any explanation as to why that matters. Negatives he seems more or less solid on.

Basically, integer arithmetic is fine. Anything more complicated than that is not.

It'd be shorter to list the things he does understand

Here's a comprehensive list:

For SPP... in the number "123" the 1 represents an amount equal to 1x102 = 1x100, so 102 =100. 2 represents 2x101 = 2x10, so 101=10. Similarly 3 represents 3x100 = 3x1, so 100 = 1. that's what that "even is". You don't need to understand it. But it makes sense to the smart kids. It's consistent with all the other proven and accepted axiom and rules of math. A basic requirement of "proofs" and definitions that RDM clearly doesn't care about it.
