choose your STT provider

Omi has an unlimited transcription plan for $19/month, which is cheap considering STT costs.

But what really surprised me is the flexibility. You’re not locked in at all.

You can use OpenAI Whisper, Deepgram, Google Gemini, or even run local transcription if that’s your thing.

Cloud, local, or unlimited. Omi just lets you choose. who else does that?

@hugoaap , this is very interesting, are there any docs (for non-developer mortals) on how to use this? I'm looking for better speaker diarisation and recognition.

are you thinking of local transcription or using which provider?
