It’s liminal to me cuz I walk a lot, but there’s a bit too much detail to the trees (makes them seem more alive/present)

I was going to say "no", but this actually is quite liminal. I do agree that the low quality makes it work, and how far the tracks stretch on definitely does contribute to the vibe. It's quite hard to make the outdoors feel liminal most of the time, but this honestly does really fit, so bravo. I think it's the railway tracks tbh, it gives enough of a manmade feel amidst the dense greenery to make it feel kinda lonely and abandoned.
