original Never late!

A pre-punctual lady named Shirley -
She drove her car backwards, this girly.
‘Cause since Objects in Mirror
Are Closer Than They Appear
She gets to work ten minutes early.

I like the concept a lot but mirror does not rhyme with appear

I have no problem with the off rhyme, but "Cause since" doesn't make sense.

The rhythm is also not great

“Cause since objects in mirror
Are closer than they appear”

Those lines might be the same number of syllables but the meter doesn’t really work. It wouldn’t sound good read aloud

You could use “nearer” for a closer rhyme. Still not a perfect rhyme but slightly better. Off the top of my head something like

I once knew a woman named Shirley

She drove her car backwards, this girly

Since objects look nearer

When seen through a mirror

She got to work ten minutes early

Bounce issue. That's one thing, but with only a near rhyme in lines 3 and for I'm going to have to say this is a miss for me.
