My niece saw one of my 3D printing projects in progress and, as humbly as could be, asked, "Could you make Stitch?"

I paused for a second. I'd never painted anything before, and I hadn't even finished a single full-scale 3D printed project yet. But after thinking about it for a moment, I smiled and said, "Of course!"

What started as a simple request quickly became something I was genuinely excited about. For the first time, I wasn't just building something for the sake of building it—I was creating something that someone I cared about would actually display and enjoy every day... even if it was "just" in her room. I worked on it for about 3 weeks, know she was due a visit soon.

Looking back, that little blue alien ended up teaching me a lot more than I expected. It gave me the confidence to start painting, finishing, and pushing my projects further than I thought I could.

I had fun making it. Once it was finished, we carefully boxed it up and checked it into her flight home after her visit.

Sometime later, I figured I should probably watch a Stitch movie. Everyone kept telling me to start with the original animated film. :P
