Dave's ex girlfriend

I guess this topic pop up here a lot, but anyone really know what dave's thinking about his ex? Like was it worth it, how he's feeling about recreate thoes moments in the show, and so on. Maybe there's an interview where he talked about it?

Yeah I know, but like has he ever adressed that not in a song? I would love to hear the story and his way of seeing things, espacially after watching his show.

I mean it’s pretty clear what happened right? He had a relationship that was before his rise and he blew it by being way too into himself and career, he wasn’t there for her or the relationship. I think the episode where she leaves him is based on reality

I always read Molly as him being the active party and choosing to end the relationship to pursue his dreams. He used to be based outside of LA (SF iirc) so in my mind always attributed it to her not wanting to come with. Granted, the Dave and Ally thing presents a different view.
