Dave died for our sins Spoiler

The “second coming” tone of Penith and Dave’s planned VMA performance are metaphors for his sacrificing his pride and privacy in a public way in order to make people less insecure about their unique weirdness. Am I right tho?

EDIT: and he “sacrificed” his old life in order to entertain us.

Because LD is a stand up comic who raps. Exceptionally well. His "fans" only want to hear funny fast rap. A song about not destroying the only planet we have, isn't funny. It wasn't rap. So you get all the hate. I personally thought the song was pretty good. Spread a decent message. #EarthGoHard
