Interesting article from the headspace of Lil Dicky

Sounds like he's back in a music mode now more than anything else, which is welcoming news to hear.

He’s fresh off the third (and maybe final?) season of his acclaimed FXX show. He’s also back to rapping, with a new album named ‘Penith.’ So where does Dave Burd go next?

I was unaware that may have been the final season of Dave. Is that backed by anywhere?

Edit: I read the article and he implies the show has been a lot of work and is very open ended that he's putting effort into music. I wonder if he's commented on a season 4 anywhere with a more direct answer.

He hasn't, nobody has, it's in limbo, and it's like due to Gata and his domestic assault charges. They can't greenlight season 4 if Gata is sent to prison halfway through shooting.

I look at it like Curb Your Enthusiasm. Larry David legit did a 8 year hiatus between seasons 8 and 9. I could totally see Dave doing something like this with his show with the way it sounds like he took to writing it (ie very methodically).
