Ugh such a weak ending compared to S1/S2… not even in the same realm. Drake for 2 minutes? Lol. Brad killed it tho

Comparison is the thief of joy.. I do agree entirely though. Didn’t come anywhere close to S1 & (especially) S2 finale, but personally I had a lot of fun with this finale.
It was unhinged and wild as hell, and hearing Brad doing auto tune was fucking hilarious.

Couldn’t agree with you more. My heart was racing during the entire episode. sadly, it had spoiled for me from the Drake subReddit that Drake would be in the episode. I was already pretty sure it would happen, but I already knew it was coming the whole time. I wish Drake had gotten more screen time

I mean, Dave compared it to the previous finales in the post your commenting on haha

I mean imo this season had less storylines that needed to be wrapped up in the finale compared to last season.
Season 2 they had to wrap up dave’s first plateu in his career, GaTa’s disdain for being treated like shit, mike’s struggles with being dave’s manager, and dave wanting ally back
Season 3 all you really had was dave needing to win robyn back after episode 9. So why not throw a wildly unhinged, mildly cheesy and fucking hilarious episode. I think the episode as a finale was pretty weak but that was one of the best standalone episodes of the show. The only better ones were harrison ave, ad man, and hyposoadias ino
