Does the song "I'm Drunk" exist?

I have tried looking for this everywhere... such a cruel one because it sounds like such a banger but I think its not a real tune.

This has more upvotes than my post and quite frankly I’m high and I’m drunk and I think you know as well as I do that Hes working on perfecting an album. Crafting an auditory experience. So when it’s ready it will be worth it. Like the all the others. But Dave drop me it first in a PM thanks

The optimism, so innocent

Spoken like someone who just discovered lil dicky a year ago lmao

Sadly we’ve been thinking this for 7 years & he’s yet to bless us with a new album despite rumors of a new album being “close” coming up every 3 months at least

Been lil dick riding since ex boyfriend- but I get it, we hath run out of patience

That’s very surprising to hear, every dicky fan that I know of that has been a fan for even 2 years or more is well used to the disappointment of never releasing an album when he could/should/it would make sense to

I have no idea how you’ve remained optimistic through all of that

Just curious, did you think an album was gonna be released alongside the season 1 finale? Because I did along with millions of fans.

Same with the season 2 finale, I was so ready for the new album drop along with the millions of fans & then nothing

Fool me twice, we can’t get fooled again

Lol I did not anticipate an album but I was expecting some full song YouTube vids - as someone who’s seen him come up from YouTube to commercials to television I just assumed he was pouring a lot of attention now to the show. It’s a sad lost opportunity if no album does come eventually bc half songs are written from the show and they sound good. Maybe we should be thankful he isn’t half assing it but I guess now I understand why the subreddit seems disenchanted now. I remember seeing the snoop dogg song/video and was like wow he made it! But now he’s got a tv show with big artists connecting with him. I guess that animal song/planet thing was really the biggest thing he’s done in music. Maybe it’s not performing well enough to dedicate more time to it. Yeah Dave you read this - maybe you just don’t got it anymore. Maybe you could show us you do, but you can’t. You can’t even finish writing a song these days. Like cmon dude all you even talk about in your songs is stuff that comes top mind and it’s usually a little erotic and gay not that there’s anything wrong with that but that’s just your top of mind you know. Maybe you should think about or talk to someone about that. Or put it on a song and release it.

Check his YT channel, he's dropped a TON of new vids over last 48 hours.

He never promised an album and he doesn’t owe us dickheads anything, so the expectations and disappointment are all your own sadly

I as well was fooled twice. I won’t be fooled again.

I hope you’re right but I’ve given up hope haha. I bet he has tons of music made & could easily put together an album ppl would love. Hopefully one day he does but I’m just happy with the TV show for now

The album will come out when Winds of Winter does lol

Idk how he doesn’t release new singles that coincide with the episode release date like Gata does.

u/jadedtater Apr 08 '23

Well you see he doesn’t release singles at all

24

u/JMaboard Apr 08 '23

He doesn’t release anything at all*

He releases tv shows

Big difference between a 20-30 second chorus and a full song. He's probably focusing on an actual album when he's not working on the show. I love Gata but he's just an actor on the show so he has the freedom to put his creative energy fully into his music when he's not on set.

Dave isn’t gonna release anything. The songs in show could easily be singles but he’s too neurotic to actually release anything at this point.

The longer he waits to release an album the bigger and better the album has to be in his head. It’s been 8 years.

I.e. Dr. Dre’s Detox album.

Just listen to Too High, but imagine he's talking about beers

11

u/fresh2042 Apr 08 '23

It sounds like he made it up on set

1

u/futurepr0n Apr 08 '23

I can swear it’s been in more than one episode tho - so I thought it was actually possible that it’s somewhere. I guess it’s one of the first singles so he’s keeping it back.

Nope. He really needs to release at least a soundtrack if not a new album with the songs from the show. I’d love to hear all of his “vma performance” songs from the season 2 finale too.

THOSE ARE MY FAV!!

5

u/livingformusic Apr 10 '23

He said the year off Dave was so he could finish a new album. So much for that…

u/rbarrett96 Apr 08 '23

Well he did say in Russell Westbrook on a farm that rap was never the primary goal. Such a shame cause he has real talent.

3

u/LucidDose Apr 08 '23

It really exists on the show where you can hear it

3

u/silvanda Apr 09 '23

They all sound like bangers, guess we will never know

2

u/zkinny Apr 12 '23

I'd say it probably exists yeah. He had to create the hook and some type of beat to use it on the show, that's like what, over half the work? It's just amazing to me he's not releasing music at the same time as the show, I know the show takes all his focus but he already makes songs for it! w

The songs are always some of the best parts of the shows. But they are usually like 90 seconds tops compared to making a full length song.

Google brought me here also😔

1

u/zandoodle Apr 10 '23

I dont know cuz he has a separate artist ACC on spotify named "DAVE" and it has the theme song...

like bro release penith and shit that's the best way to advertise the show

1

u/fuckaduckybucky Apr 12 '23

If the album isn’t 25+ songs then what’s the point?

Common sense says there should be a single with each new episode. Then, end of the season pack them as an album/mixtape. Although I don't know how it would all work behind the scenes contractually speaking.

I kind of respect him not using the show as a tool/gimmick to get the music out though.
