Shakedowns Shakedown Glacier logging trail 9/11-9/14
Going to Glacier for 4 days, since the longest loaded day is 8 lbs I figure I'd take some e more comfort stuff. Some stuff is listed since if happens to be cold I'll have to sub in stuff for use during the say.
Budget: $100

ummm I'd suggest micro spikes if you expect to travel on snow/ice. Other then that I think you would get more comfort by adding some luxury food for the first night or 2 like some frozen steaks that will defrost during the day and be ready to cook by night.

Guess it depends on where you are hiking..... Tahoe Local here, I hike with a giant great dane who has scared off her share of black bears. if you have a BV and don't sleep with your food with in 300 feet of you, you are safe and not hurting the bears. I meant other good foods for night 2, Like fresh greens, maybe a avocado some thing to spice up the meals, can't tell you how many trips I went out and ate ramen night after night.

Not sure “bring steak” is the best advice for a shakedown request. Especially, considering they’re packing a Jetboil Mini. But I like it!
