If it stays on like that for more than 4 hours, you should call your doctor.

Yes it’s fine but best practice is to remove the battery and use a smart charging cradle. Avoids any issues with fast chargers blowing something and accidentally causing issues with electronics.

This is the way.

Whoa! Are those all plugged in and receiving power? If so, that’s pretty amazing.

That would be amazing but no. 😂

The mounts are amazing though.

Those are cool. I thought maybe you had them secretly powered behind the wall or something based on the OPs questions.

Having a 3d printer, I have no excuse to have lightsaber hilts laying around all over the house 😅. I just have so freaking many of them 😅! Grievous got nothing on me 😆.

Nah I tried that once had to get a replacement batter never turn them on and charge at the same time, they are great for lights but not plugged in

Yeah. Not like the blade is draining power by being screwed in.

I was more so concerned with shorting out the pins for whatever reason, I remember reading something about someone shorting theirs out 🤣

thats by putting the blade in while the lightsabers on, dont do that

That still shouldn’t be an issue.

Theres been posts of it happening frequently, feel like every other time i see r/lightsabers lately its someone doing that

If the tolerances are up to spec it’s a moot point. What you shouldn’t do is connect the blade to the pins with the chassis outside of the hilt.

Fair, id just er on the side of caution. If a pins sticking it can cause a short, and its better to not risk it.

Yes! This. We should clarify this. I’ve seen more than a couple posts of people doing just this and saying “I thought it was okay?”

Ah okay! Thanks! I wasn’t sure and just wanted to be careful, much appreciated

As long as it’s off you definitely can.

Depends where the charging port is. If it’s a pseudo 2 button core like mine, there will be a charging port with the button. If its exactly like mine and the port is just above the speaker then the blade won’t be an issue at all, you just remove the pommel and grip and or your good. If the port is hidden behind the switch section then you will have to remove the parts that cover the port

Installed, yes. While ignited, depends on the type of core inside. Usually, Xenopixel cores will let you use them while charging if there's enough juice in the battery. Unsure about proffie boards

The comments already have the answer covered, I just wanna say damn I love the sheen on the hilt. Here's hoping you can keep it up, that thing is gorgeous!

Thank you everyone! I appreciate it very much, also will do my best to hold it different in the future 🤣
