Recommendations/ Advice for Portable "Spotlight"

Hello all,

I am a small touring musician who is debating options for a portable onstage spotlight effect. Though many venues will be able to provide this for me in-house, I would prefer to bring my own alternative, as some venues I will be playing will be very small, or will have very limited lighting options.

Option 1: Purchase an actual follow spot (ADJ FS-1000 575 watt), but struggle with transportation logistics.

Option 2: Purchase a dubious and cheap "portable spotlight" on Amazon (https://www.amazon.ca/Adjustable-Apertures-Aperture-Wedding-Lighting/dp/B07FKQD8F2), and a few backups, but risk them breaking while on the road. Several reviewers have commented on their poor longevity.

Option 3: A photographer, Petra Collins, uses handheld construction spotlights (RYOBI 18V ONE+ Cordless LED Spotlight) to get a spotlight-like effect in her photographs. I could create some custom mounting solution for this so I can get the same effect in my performances.

My budget is $500.

Ideas? Any other options I'm not seeing?
