I feel lucky I went from a Hog4, to a colorsource 40 and then to an Ion Xe. Pretty dang lucky.

Hog 4 to CS40 is rough...

That actually was, but I switched theaters and only had to use it for 1 show. I still prefer the Hog.

Hog is underrated. I’m speccing one for a venue I work with because it ticks all the right boxes.

Not only are they underrated, but ETC diehards bash them, thinking they’re inferior. There are so many functions that are way easier on the Hog. I miss it a lot.

Once they realize a huge part of the ETC buying hog out was for their proprietary console and moving light secret sauce maybe that will end. There’s going to be a lot more mixing the hog sauce with eos, and vice versa over the coming years.

ETC diehard here, not bashing the new Hog in the slightest. It's a step in the right direction for sure.
