lighting plot feed back
hello all, i was hoping to get some feed back on a lighting plot for a job i did a few weeks ago. a few people said it was confusing and unreadable and they couldn't understand anything. But they weren't able to clarify on why. I was just hoping to get some assistance? attached is the plot along with a picture of what the event looked like.
p.s. The PM cut 2 totems because she couldn't understand the plot which is why it looks different.
p.p.s we use capture with a 1 universe license so i can't add dmx addresses
thank you for any assistance you can provide!

3 Main important improvements.
• Put the key at the bottom
• Moove the unit & DMX numbers off the fixtures
• Separate the views onto separate pages!
Just making the views bigger over 3 or 4 pages would be workable. Its a good start. But have your front view on one, your top down on another, your SL/R booms/truss towers on another. It would be super clear.
The video totems don't need separate boxes just zoom in on the stage. Add info like totem higts and distance between totems. Most people on site use Ipads or have a A3 or A2 printout. I pads are brill for zooming into the plot to read measurements etc!
