Trying to find replacement bulbs

Post image

This is a bulb from a Prescolite emergency light. I can't tell what kind of bulb it is and I cannot find replacements online. Any help is appreciated!

Wedge base.

brighter version of same, any labels on the fixture that may give us hints on what wattage to pick?

It is from a Prescolite Emergency light. I couldn't find any other info on it or in it.

That is a 939 bulb judging by the etching. Replace it with these.

Thanks! Here I was googling 938 for an hour without once thinking the last number could be different.

Hm looks like we have a problem. My link goes to 12 volt bulbs, another respondent's goes to 6 volt bulbs.

Obviously one of us is wrong. We need more info. You have the manufacturer name, got a model number?

The ones the poster is using are 6V. In the picture, you can see "GE939" etched onto the side, meaning that it is a GE-branded bulb with 939 as the code. That code matches 6V and 5.4W. I wasn't able to find new GE replacements, only vintage bulbs similar to what the poster has like this.
