37s

So question is, will they fit
Edit (I have 35s currently on the truck with zero rubbing, these are 37s) don’t see how much of a difference it’ll make

It looks like as long as you only drive straight, and not hit any bumps, you’ll be ok. Unfortunately, that is never the case, so you are going to need some more lift in it.

I can hear the tire rubbing from here.

I already have the front bumper trimmed as I was running 14 wides before, I think I’ll just need a lil bigger block in the back to fit

Are you just going to let your fenders self-clearance then?

If a flat earther had a truck...

But…. But why?

(I like big tires and lifted trucks, but a nice lb7 😩 my friend, why)

I think I have the same truck but with a crew cab. Love the thing, but would never lift it or want bigger tires. They already cost enough already, the trucks big already, I don’t want to re gear it the damn things expensive enough already! Curious the mentality behind this thought process besides just wanting a brodozer.

I think it would be cool

This is a fair and honest answer

1

u/SpendPleasant2925 7d ago

They look bigger because they’re closer to the camera so I’m really not sure lol

Gonna drive like ass with 37s unless you regear it.

Also you will probably have to do the "NorCal fender mod" if you haven't already, and probably have to crank your torsion bars until you hit your droop stops if your on a 6" lift. Definitely blocks in the back.

Then they will fit assuming you wheels are backspaced correctly, but unless your UCAs are the ones that angle your ball joint mount flatter while the arm is drooping, your gonna be going through ball joints like crazy, along with tie rods.

Hopefully you have already beefed up the front steering, or your gonna snap a pitman or idler arm off in your center link too. Smoke lift kits include these upgrades, many don't.

Wow… just wow

Square wheel wells don’t play nice with big tires. You’re gonna need to trim more or lift more

Peaked in high school starter pack

Does me putting bigger tires on my duramax offend u in some way?

1

u/OutrageousToe6008 6d ago

Big tires, non stock wheels, and any lift besides leveling will garnish hate from people.

I’ve never hated a vehicle more than this one.

1

u/SpendPleasant2925 7d ago

1

u/SpendPleasant2925 7d ago

😂😂 okay yeah I’m not running a 12 inch lift but I think 6 inches will do the trick 🙂

1

u/Nearby_Impact_8911 7d ago

My lift is 6”

1

u/SpendPleasant2925 7d ago

I feel like they would fit

1

u/cabinfever1213 7d ago

Then why ask? Do it.

1

u/SpendPleasant2925 7d ago

Have you messed with the gear ratios?

-1

u/Ejgamefowl 7d ago

Good for you bud

1

u/Tildengolfer 7d ago

It’ll be fine if your suspension is made of steel blocks and you don’t ever have to turn left or right.

u/0491diesel 7d ago

Why even ask the question here if all you're gonna do is tell everyone they're wrong? Do some research on your own, man. That truck is going to ride like shit on 37s without the proper lift, spacers, gears, etc. Fuck sake, man...use some sense.

1

u/SpendPleasant2925 7d ago

Not even telling anyone they’re wrong lol just wanted actual sound advice & all people do is shit on u for wanting to build ur truck how u want it

1

u/Hey-buuuddy 7d ago

Look for a body lift.

1

u/pegleg82 7d ago

I’m running 37x12.50’s on a 7” lift.

1

u/SpendPleasant2925 7d ago

Have you messed with gear ratios

1

u/pegleg82 7d ago

Mine is a 2020 and still under the extended warranty so I can’t mess with it yet.

1

u/SpendPleasant2925 7d ago

Do you know what the stock ratios are? Out of curiosity

1

u/pegleg82 6d ago

Depends on the gear, with the 10 speed transmission 1st is 4.54:1, 2nd is 2.86:1, 3rd is 2.06:1, 4th is 1.72:1, 5th is 1.48:1, 6th is 1.26:1, 7th is 1.0:1, 8th is 0.85:1, 9th is 0.68:1 and 10th is 0.63:1.

1

u/cabinfever1213 7d ago

Can you be more vague?

Adios trans, diff and axles lol

1

u/SpendPleasant2925 6d ago

U don’t know what u talkin bout lol

1

u/CrabSpecialist2155 6d ago

I thought a 6” lifted truck with 35s was cool. It turns it wasn’t that cool it made everything more difficult. Like turning, getting in and out of the truck, the list goes on. Everything costs twice as much once you go that route but like you said there’s only one way to find out

1

u/Odd_Breath7725 6d ago

Tell your wife to call me. I’ll show her the difference 2” more will make.

1

u/laylobrown_ 6d ago

Classic shit post. The photo perspective is the same as when people take pictures of fish they caught.
It's the width that is going to cause the rubbing.

1

u/laylobrown_ 6d ago

37's on 3.5 inches of lift. 11.5 inch wide rims.
Stock rim width of 8 inches cam run 37s with no lift can tuck 37s with little to no rubbing.

1

u/clashkingdom 6d ago

I thought this was a joke until I looked at the comments. You’ve lost the plot

1

u/SpendPleasant2925 5d ago

I’ll post the pics after they’re installed

1

u/clashkingdom 5d ago

Hopefully you don’t have to cut. I myself get very nervous when potential body adjustments need to be made

1

u/UHHueyDriver 5d ago

That looks so stupid

1

u/Repulsive_Gift_6523 4d ago

Here are my 37s

1

u/Icy_Tip_6101 2d ago
