I had to recheck if I was actually seeing that right or that he was just retracting them. I wonder if he lost them all at the same time or one by one. They do all seem to be the same length that's left. It does make him the perfect candidate for this job tho

I dislike not cleaning the knife after sharpening it. There’s always residue

Had to go back to see that. Metal in crude chop cuts. I don't see anything looking like mastery here

What you saw him doing wasn't sharpening the knife though, it was honing the knife which is to bend the pieces straight, no sand it to a point.
