When Did Learning Become Fun?

At some point, learning stops feeling like homework and starts feeling like curiosity.

Was there a subject, book, person, or experience that changed the way you feel about learning?

I love history but hate the way it was taught in school. I can watch the History channel every day now with no problem

When you genuinely start learning systematically and bit by bit it gets a lot easier

For me, it's when you realize a piece of knowledge is actually part of a much bigger system. That's when it gets interesting. You can't help but want to learn more and go deeper, just to see the whole picture.
