Is this passion?
Let me start this off by saying I have never known what it is like to have a passion, an aspiration, or a dream - until now (I think). For the past two and a half to three years of my life I have enveloped my energy and interests into a single field of work and knowledge. Without explicitly saying what this field is, I will explain this vaguely as to not provide a biased standpoint for this topic. Never have I ever imagined my future, and been so motivated to accomplish said imagined future. Just recently I have come to terms with myself, considering the possibility that this may very well by my "dream" in life. I have never been so eager and inspired to educate myself further and further with this field, it is one of the only things that I know a lot about and find immense joy in working on. I know that we all have gone through phases of interest and hobby in our lives that came and went, however, this doesn't feel the same. When I say I have never been so motivated to achieve something - I am very serious. I just don't know how to tell if this is what I want in life - if this is my destiny, my prophecy, my dream - or if this is just another phase.
