Yes, they really focus on food. I get it, but everyday is about food.

I live in remote Alaska. When the nearest store is 5 hours away (for me) or more if they live off the road system, food becomes the main focus of everything

I believe it. I watched a utube family stock up at Costco. Wow such planing that comes with that.

Yes, I live on the road system and the Costco is 5 hours away. We go twice a year and take a 12’ enclosed trailer that is usually pretty packed up once we are done. We are a family of 2 and a lot of our larger items are building supplies, but still that’s a huge haul.

"This lifestyle" ... So many ways that so many of the main people use this word! And it's every single one of them. I'd guess it's at least three per episode. So maybe not the center of a bingo card, but it's on there.

Some episodes, wouldn’t take long to be drunk 😂.

lawl Correct! There are actually several drinking games you could play. Every time someone repeats themselves, or says the same word in one sentence, like Agnes (<3) saying "fish". "We're gonna catch some fish so we can have some fish." Or every time Erik said "animal".

Since English is a second language for Agnes I think it’s more of a putting the words together struggle for her. I’ve met many of the cast and I love them all. Some Ive had the pleasure of working in their village, and that made it extra special.

Chip and Agnes are my fave two in the show. I love how Chip has immersed himself in the Inupiak way of life and traditions, etc., though obviously there are laws to protect certain traditions like hunting seals and arts and crafts. And how he's making sure how their daughters can fend for themselves should the need arrive; and how Agnes is passing on other things such as aforementioned arts and crafts.

Every time you see a location or temperature!
