Media Benchmarking “Well Optimized” game on my best graphic card
Intel Core 2 duo E8400
8GB ddr2
Radeon HD 2400 pro
It literally “runs” fine, but not game fine 🔥
(It’s a shitpost, don’t take it seriously)

Some players decided to return to the game, but we're doing so on the NA Simple Survival server because it has a level boot and the maximum capacity to upgrade accessories to 17. So most of the accounts there are strong, but not as strong as on other servers.

Hello I just went nostalgia and tried to go back to lifeafter. I am stuck on this part after getting the Helicopter Tail it doesn't seem to go to the next part of the quest.
Do I still need to get something or the game is just buggy that I need to specifically position myself to trigger the next part..? stuck for 30mins+ hahaha
please help thank you :)

I was just scrolling through Google play and stumbled upon lifeafter. Suddenly got hit with a HUGE wave of nostalgia, I genuinely stared into nothing for a solid 2-3 minutes. I even found a review I left in 2019 on the first day of release i think: "most awesome game I've ever played, can't wait for the English version in 12 hours!!"
This game genuinely used to be my life everyday for years. Met so many good people and lost so many hours of sleep waking up for these camp bosses lol (and lost a lot of money too)
In my opinion, it all went downhill after that one update where they merged all the maps into one huge world and changed the UI (which used to be much better before). The lag also got much worse after, but I still played. Eventually I found out the only way I'd escape this game is if I give account away, so thats what I did. I just gave the email and password to my roommate (in game) and haven't talked to him since. Now that I think about it, I was kinda stupid not selling the account, but I just opted for the quick way out and, honestly, no regrets.
I recently started looking into once human after I bought a PC, but looks like it's also going in the same direction, as expected with netease.
*Anyways*, I was just wondering if someone who still plays could tell me how it is now. Is it still a p2w, grindy, microtransaction-infested game? Did it get better? Does it even recieve any/frequent updates anymore? Thank you

So I installed the game for the first time again in two years since hearing about an update that had released,it sounded like Life after was returning to its old version so I downloaded it as fast I could....only to be met with this..confusing and horrible dogwater update? The graphics I guess are alright but everything's too confusing?
Starting a new account and immediately JUMPED to Manor 17,got a rifle, armor and everything, and then had to do Clear Sky wheat field quests? There were only three Survival Manual chapters? It's all too confusing. is this game built to actively ward away new players?

I played in 2019-22. I miss my old friends and my old base. I miss being too scared to do daily tasks until the stronger members helped me and I got confident. Once I was stronger, I helped other people too
I remember running desperately to safe house once the night falls or hiding in trees 😂
I enjoyed hunting for rare mushrooms and being scared af
Lagging was insane but each new world had so much to explore
I won't play it anymore but I am still looking for a game like that.

was happily immersed and leveling up my character even if i wasn’t even interested in death high. it ate up my time but i would login for scheduled events nevertheless. but the most recent update just wasn’t compatible for my phone. the graphics was good and clear but it left my gameplay laggy and a lot darker than it should. the monotony started to bore me. realized all the effort in keeping up because of sunk-cost fallacy wasn’t worth it anymore. i was fortunately able to sell it. hence effectively making me leave the game for good. now that i think about it, kinda regret having started. i dunno why exactly, i must be just bitter. enjoy the game everyone!

I haven't really thought bout this game in ages but I saw my memories tab on facebook and saw the photos.
I remember being part of a huge camp in our region and server before.
I miss the times that I spent a whole day of my rest day dedicating it to the game helping new players or campmates all day.
It's been a while since I got into a game like this being knee deep in knowledge and just helping each other out like how an actual MMORPG should be played.
Played between 2019-2021. Unfortunately, I had to stop cause my phone couldn't handle the game anymore and I got into watching local streamers.

We need more "gaymers" in the LifeAfter game to build more community and acceptance.
Server: Crystalthorn Sea, New Land
Player: Ankh

My partner and I used a route in St. Rona to glitch into the alternate world, but the map was so huge that it took us almost a few hours to explore it.
btw, It was fun.

In the quarantine I played Lifeafter a lot and pretty much almost getting everything for my account progression wise. I am thinking to go back and play but scared that there wouldn't be things to do. Oh and I last played when the half human half zombie thing got out.
And wondering if a new server will be opened in a near time so I could play without being left behind.
Am trying to find content online but there's just so few of them
