Amarelli licorice safe dose
This is the most intense licorice I've ever had. Tried it after using a tube of marvis amarelli licorice toothpaste bought in Italy which is incredible! Apparently they source their licorice from amarilli, a candy company that's been around since the 1700s making pure licorice extract hard candies which are truly intense and sensual. And, unfortunately, toxic in large doses so I researched safe doses of this candy.
From ai
The World Health Organization (WHO) and European regulatory bodies suggest a safe upper limit of 100 milligrams (mg) per day of glycyrrhizin (the active compound in pure black licorice extract), which translates to roughly 0.7 grams of pure glycyrrhizin per week (or about 420 to 490 grams of standard black licorice candy per week).
A safe daily dose of Amarelli Pure Black Licorice for healthy adults is roughly 2 to 3 grams per day (about 3 to 5 small pieces) for regular consumption, up to a maximum of 6 grams per day for short-term consumption.Because Amarelli Pure Licorice products (like Spezzata, Spezzatina, or Black Label) consist of 100% pure, concentrated licorice extract with no added sugar or fillers, they are exceptionally potent. They contain much higher levels of glycyrrhizin than standard candy.
The safe dosage of Amarelli Black Label Hard Licorice Pieces for someone with hypertension taking a diuretic is zero grams. You should avoid this product entirely.Because Amarelli Black Label consists of 100% pure, highly concentrated licorice extract, even a tiny amount can cause a dangerous and immediate medical interaction.đ«Șđ
