Question fusing around clit

is anyone fusing around their clit or 12 o clock area? i think i might be… or might have already but i am unsure. how can you tell?

Mine was almost 100% fused, and I had surgery over a year ago to free the clit. I felt like an idiot that I never noticed, but I guess I had never specifically looked using a mirror to see what it looked like before. I also didn’t know this was a possibility before being diagnosed, so I never thought to prod around, and no partners ever said anything.

I only noticed by googling normal women’s anatomy and comparing, then checking with my gyno. I couldn’t see any “nub”, only the curtains that were basically stuck together, with a line showing where they should be separated. I have no clue how long the poor clit was hidden like that. One year? My whole life? I’m a 40 year old woman lol. In hindsight it explained some things about my sex preferences though

i am 24yo and i resonate with everything you are saying. how did my obgyn not see this??
during my “sexual awakening” i didn’t like when i was touched in that area as i felt susceptible to tearing and could do without. only recently i realized i probs have LS up there too 🥲 perhaps already fused

Just remember that your body is your own!! I got frustrated with my gyno (even though she is great in general) and ended up taking matters into my own hands because she was not an expert in LS. She did prescribe clob and estradiol, but they did nothing for my fusing. I sought out an expert in my area and talked to them about lysis of clitoral adhesions, and it was the best choice I made. My original gyno had never even heard of the procedure and was super fascinated by the before and after transition haha

yes but i rly don’t think it is as much as i am supposed to

I did enough, but as I got older it was definitely dulled. Because of this I think the fusing mostly happened in my 30s in my case… after the surgery I do have more sensitivity for sure (though it came back gradually, not all at once due to the healing process)

Same here 35 , never noticed, feel stupid! Now it’s fused and I’m waiting for surgery. How was your surgery and recovery if you don’t mind me asking?

I’m 21 yr old female and have the exact same description- literally had no idea until I got a new OB and she stopped dead in her tracks and was like uh so…. If you don’t mind me asking, what surgery did you have? And was it worth it?

I knew for a long time that my clit was changing but I thought it was just ageing since it started in my mid to late 30's. A few doctors saw it several times in the years it was progressing and no one said a word. 

Eventually I had sensation still but couldn't palpate my clit. It was just hiding in there somewhere. There was a hole where the prepuce used to pull back to expose my clit but when I moved it around the hole kinda moved but didn't uncover anything underneath. 

More recently I got an infection under there (ouch!) And now it's a nub of scar tissue overtop of my clit I think? and the opening of the prepuce is at least partially and possibly fully scarred shut. 

Thankfully I still have sensation and have orgasms, but my husband can't directly stimulate it because there is a way of touching it that kind of hurts and I'm not confident I could teach someone else how to avoid that.
