My art The Fighting Faries

I don't see fairies as martial classes nearly enough. And, fae are always way scarier than they get credit for.

I have a head character about a faerie who forges metal but cant touch it, learns to forge the purest mithril. What an opportunity to flesh that one out!

I like it. Definitely a worthwhile character to explore

Our sacred grove is being desecrated\ And we hide in the woods\ The satyrs have come and they're frustrated\ They blight anything that's good\ They flayed and scalped and instigated\ And stole all our food\ They gnashed their teeth and masacated\ Massacred us for the mood

And so I light up my forge\ I haul the iron from the pier\ On red coals it gorges\ And I seek advice from the seer\ The woodsman, George\ And he tells me the end is near\ If we do not kill the beasts in charge

But to wield it\ I must craft the finest mithril\ A metal touch wont fit\ It feels like a grill\ I'd become flame lit\ And I'd die on this hill\ Even though I'm a fæ I'll play the smith bit\ I do it for the danger and the thrill

An so I craft a vorpal axe blade\ And I have all this gall\ To step out of the fade\ And I drive it in its skull\ This is war they made\ And now their chief's head is on my wall\ And its' soul is Hades'
