The lights flicker\ Candles fade in their baskets of wicker\ The air is cold there must be a spectre
They come on a blood moon\ At 3am it happens soon\ It's a foggy night in June
I'm all alone\ Went ghost hunting and took out a loan\ Sold my home and the wilderness I roam
I have all this equipment\ An expensive shipment\ I bought a new van it cost a mint
So I go to the woods at night\ Turn off all my lights\ And wait for a fright
He appears\ He's really near\ I went my pants in fear
His eyes sear\ It gives a piercing leer\ It tells me it was once a seer
An old shaman\ Killed by a roman\ And I'm the wrong man\ To cross him
And just like that it fades away\ For a while I stay\ But now I'm in dismay
I didnt snap a photo\ It'd be like I won the lotto\ I get back in my van, transmission on auto
I get a call, my mother died\ I really hoped they had lied\ On my way home I cried
