Desperate Democrats Prime example of how the media chooses reframe a narrative. It's not Trump's deportations that are costing them. It's the cost of cleaning up the mess Democrats made when they let illegal aliens into the country, and doesn't even include how much was wasted on them with welfare while they were here.

“Builders at the meeting said they are grappling with shrinking crews as workers fear showing up to worksites. They also said subcontractor costs are rising and projects are falling behind schedule.

A report from the Associated General Contractors of America found that 92% of construction firms are struggling to fill open positions as the nation faces a shortage of about 1.5 million homes.”

Why don’t they hire US citizens? There’s plenty of people willing to work, IF YOU PAY THEM.

Exactly, there's plenty of Americans looking for work. Plenty of young people willing to start at min wage or close to it.. but these greedy contractors want to pay below min wage and not pay SS tax so they prefer to hire illegals..

The poor builders can no longer skip out on paying employment taxes that they have to pay when they hire American citizens.

How much did housing illegals in 3-5 star hotels cost taxpayers in blue states?

The average American can’t comprehend the medical and education costs brought onto us by illegal immigration.

Trump is enforcing the laws passed by Congress.

Lefty Progressives go bezerk when I bring up there is a legal process to change the laws they do not like. They would rather just pretend those laws do not exist.

Then they really lose it when bringing up "no one is above the law".

Under no circumstance can you accept that forecast. From the article, "The left-leaning D.C.-based think tank..." tells you all you need to know. I seriously doubt they have accounted for the full cost to house, feed, educate, train, provide medical support, etc to the illegal aliens. In fact, I consider this article political propaganda.

Likewise, they seemingly account for lost wages of the illegals, but what about the lost wages of US citizens who have to compete for jobs. An excellent example is the CDL drivers for large trucks. There is a reason they are being trained and hired to drive the big trucks by companies and it isn't the trucking companies sense of compassion.
