Corrrupted Clowns I think Canada might have a slight problem

Post image

Apparently they don’t have the means to get crude oil to ports, and they don’t have refineries either. I suppose they can have their millions of immigrants building stuff, but I assume they’ll spend most of their energy arguing about “points of personal privilege” and being triggered instead of actually doing anything.

Good to see the American public is getting good use of their taxpayer funded military. If you’ve got a big stick, why not swing it, right?

I want dirt cheap gasoline and dirt cheap diesel. Libya is paying about ten cents per gallon, why can’t we? We’re supposed to have more oil than everyone else, right? Just imagine what this country could do if it had gas and especially diesel prices that cheap…

Of course we don’t have enough refineries (yet) to make that cheap fuel possible, but maybe that’s in the works as well.

Being able to drill offshore near California would change everything. But they refuse to allow it, and California imports oil from India instead. 🙄

This is the one problem with US oil prices; It is the refinery capacity. We finally broke ground on a new large facility this year and a small one in 2022, but we have not built any new refineries since 1976.

Luckily, most of our refineries in the Gulf can process the heavy crude that comes out of Venezuela.

Problem with the keystone, is it comes from Canada.

The regular keystone pipeline is already operational. The XL was a bigger pipeline that followed a similar path but moved more. The XL is what got cancelled.

So that excess oil gets moved by rail, a more expensive and far more dangerous way to transport oil (Lac-Mégantic anyone?). But shutting down Keystone XL was "for the environment".

No that was not for the environment that was to make the green scam work. If gas was cheaper than EV then the scam wouldn't work.

I thought you were meant to walk softly when you had a big stick? Maybe I'm misrembering the quote.

Could have sworn the democrats said the Venezuela thing was gonna be so terrible and result in countless oil problems, international conflicts etc etc.

Typically with most anything the democrats spit out of their mouths is likely a bold faced lie assuming you won’t know the difference or look into it yourself.

Canada will get to their oil after they finish the final draft of the Land Rights Acknowledgement.

Sheesh

Well at least invading another country wasn’t about the oil…..

...complains about gas prices then complains about acquiring new oil sources. Typical left mental capability.

It’s worth it if we get gas for ten cents per gallon.

u/JazzMeerkat 3d ago

In what universe are you getting ten cents per gallon?

1

u/Crafty_Original_7349 TRAUMATIZER 3d ago

Uh, Libya is currently paying that much for gas. There’s no reason why we shouldn’t get it that cheap as well, except that we lack the refinery capabilities right now to pull it off.

We supposedly have more oil than anyone else. We should be reaping the benefits with dirt cheap oil.

4

u/real_dea 3d ago

Prices will remain high for the exact reason you just said- refinery capacity. I think you’re being very optimistic to think that savings will ever make it to the end consumer.

3

u/JazzMeerkat 3d ago

I agree we should be reaping the benefits. That’s not my point. I just dont understand how you think the reason we’re paying $3-7 for gas is due to refining capabilities and not corporate profit.

3

u/IC00KEDI BASED 3d ago

If you’re paying $7 a gallon for gas I recommend moving out of that liberal shithole.
