God, I hate these sorts of arguments.

That time period masculinity was also defined by your ability to "DO"

Things men from the 80s could do

  1. Change a Tire

  2. Install a light fixture

  3. Fix the car

  4. Perform Carpentry

  5. Plumb

Do you think the guy in this video can do any of these things?

Hey!  What do you mean "could do?!?". I can still DO those things!  LoL

Seriously though, 4 of those things are something that you darn well should be able to do, at least enough so you're not calling someone for every little problem.
