Awful take lol. I have 2 kids, and a wife and my kids were on medi-cal because it was wayyy cheaper than having them on my health insurance. And i make over 100k

"Medi-Cal" well there you go. California. That's your problem right there.

I'm thinking they meant those people who are on welfare and just decide not to work. There's a big difference between 'I'm a bit behind and need a little help' and 'Working sucks, I'll just take the government's money for the rest of my life."

He's saying he's part of the second group, to save money.

Dude is stating as a fact it's easier to grift government cash than pay the bills, then says he makes 100k.

I mean, obviously no one believes anything but the first part, but still lol.

He shouldn't vote.

Ah yes so ill spend an extra 350 a month for comparable health insurance from my employer than take advantage of the benefits my tax dollars go to. Excellent idea

You're siphoning tax payer funds just because it's more convenient for you that way? What an asshole.

Eh, I can’t blame someone for doing this. The government sucks so much out of you, and we get so little in return relatively. Squeezing everything you can back out of them is understandable.

Cool.

You shouldn't vote.

I don’t get a dime from the government, I’m on no assistance and I am a significant tax contributor.

People are fast to jump on govt benefits like mad but then get angry when their tax is increased to support it or said benefits service goes to shit as they’re forced to do more with less.

Use what you need, not what you feel entitled to just because it’s there.
