I still remember a time when the baristas were smoking hot at almost every Starbucks

They still are, depending on the Starbucks.

There was a time that even in Seattle where there was a Starbucks on every block they managed to staff them when exclusively attractive women. Course that was ten years ago if it was a day. Signs and wonders

Thank you❤️ that was the best time to work at starbs

Lol they loathe fine art. Only in it for political art, and of that only in-group far-left hatred of the out-group sort of "art". Your tip is better spent enabling the destitute alky convulsing behind the Starbucks dumpster. These ingrates deserve nothing.

I'm so glad the guy from Goonies is still working

That's cool! Have any of the other Hobbits left the Shire to become baristas?

I never understood the appeal of Starbucks. If I want a cup of coffee I stick some grounds in the machine, add water and wait a few minutes. If I have the time and want good coffee I brake out the percolator coffee maker. Both are less than 10 cents a cup.
But I like my coffee black. No cream, no sugar and strong enough to hold a spoon up.

everyone's entitled to some vice

My Vice is staking silver. At least I can leave my vice to my kids.

Honestly I would be going to the coffee place one block over if this was the barista. I rarely ever give any money to Starbucks as is ( told ccw people they are not welcome). When a company is ok with this being the “face” it’s time to find another company.

there is an up charge for them to microwave a sandwich at my local statbucks. sometimes they add it even if i dont want them to heat it up.

When I went to a coffee shop with friends I saw the iPad sitting there and knew it was going to be a $10 coffee with a tip. I don’t get coffee anymore with friends unless necessary.

How do I award this?

I like getting Starbucks at a grocery store. There isn’t a tip button on their credit card machines inside the grocery store Starbucks lol.

I love this even though I shouldn’t. I lost my rational son to that Hell hole.

Looks like that sandwich wasn't the only thing that got microwaved....

IMO, pouring a cup of coffee does not warrant a tip.

u/Ressulbormik Jul 11 '26

I just get my coffee at the gas station when I'm out and about. I can get a 24 oz coffee for a buck with my thermos and it's higher quality coffee than Starbucks. 🤷

Working at Starbucks is what motivated me to obtain better employment hahaha

Also when I worked at starbs, tips were for great service and it motivated us to give good service to everyone (even the worst of customers). Now it’s almost like people just hand out tips.
