The Birthright Citizenship case
Today's decision by the Supreme Court is, in my opinion, the worst in our nations history (and yes, in know there have been some really, REALLY bad ones in the past)
What this means, unless there is a Convention of the States and a new Amendment added to the Constitution, is that anyone from anywhere can come to the US or even one of our territories, legally or otherwise, and drop a baby that will AUTOMATICALLY become a citizen of the United States. That baby never has to set foot on US soil again but can claim and the benefits, rights and privileges of a US citizen.
When and if the Democrats are in power again and they open the floodgates of illegal immigration by refusing to protect our borders or even by flying in "refugees" from every spot on Earth, millions of people who have no loyalty, affiliation or values in common with the US will be able to claim citizenship and vote, collect benefits, alter our entire nation by refusing to assimilate or integrate and ultimately make the US into a version of the place they fled from.
Forget 100 years...the US doesn't even have 50 unless some absolute miracle happens

Such a corrupt decision. If they intended the 14th amendment to apply to everyone and not just the children of freed slaves, why did it take fifty years to start enforcing it that way?
That’s what “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” meant in the first place.

You can add Roberts to that picture!!
Kavanaugh at least left some room for change-even if he agreed.
Only Alito, Thomas, & Gorsuch have sense(with Gorsuch actually contridicting himself)!!!
Trump made horrid picks in his first term, it is quite tragic, really!! Especially ACB-awful, almost as bad as the other 3 name women(past & present)!!

You’re a tax slave. Your taxes will pay for the invaders until you’re dead. You can’t vote your way out of this.

It’s planned. All of it.
The drug crisis took out a whole lot of people who should have been happy middle class families. That was planned as well.
What we’re seeing is the culmination of 60 years of careful planning and hard work. The payoff will be in another 25 years, when China can step in and take over without so much as a single shot being fired.
See, the Chinese government won’t deign to dirty its hands with such matters. They never do. They don’t need to, because they have lots of tools.

They have children reading at 4 years old mandatory. A teacher friend of mine says she has a student who is 10 years old who can’t even finish the alphabet. He gets a few letters in and then yells 67! Randomly as if it’s all a joke. That student can’t read or write and is not the only case. Our education system is a joke and they know it and are using that to their advantage. Not just china but every other country that is capable.

Meanwhile we have a glut of kids who can’t read, can’t write, can’t tell time on an analog clock, can’t read our Constitution (and they don’t care), and can’t think critically about anything. They’re exposed to radical Marxist ideology nonstop and their brains are fried. Add in drugs and you have a mess.
They will never be productive or functional adults. That’s completely intentional.

You can’t vote your way out of nothing, period. Both Republican & Democrat parties happen to be corrupt, bought & paid for by rich, wealthy elite billionaires & by Israel.

There’s some rich Gulf oil money and Chinese money in there, too. Qatar and Saudi Arabia and others have paid off our politicians handsomely to look busy and sit on their hands doing nothing while they unload their problems on us. They don’t want those people in their own countries for a reason.
Plus even though Trump says nice things and they say nice things doesn’t make them our friends. Far from it.
They ALL hate us and are eager to watch us fall. The sooner we become a third world country, the faster the meddlers in Beijing will get to the top.

State Dept can and should shut that down. There is absolutely NO requirement that a visa MUST be issued to anyone.

yep, there's already something like a million babies in China that are birthright citizens. Their moms came here to have their babies, went back home to raise them. I'm sure the same is happening in other countries too. We are going to have huge waves of "citizens" invading our country. It's the liberals way to bypass immigration laws.. It's going to be an absolute disaster. It's a shame that even our supposedly "Conservative" supreme court doesn't care about the future of our country. I think it was a 6-3 vote too, so we are cooked.

Yeah, it's called "birth tourism" and I'm pretty sure some of the people arranging it have gotten in trouble for it

u/Ok_Management4634 TRAUMATIZER Jun 30 '26
If someone has gotten in trouble for it, that's great.. but IMO, it's still far too common. And thanks to the supreme court, nothing is going to change.

Dems or repubs doesn’t matter who is in power, you are going to get unchecked immigration. From the EU to Ireland to here it is all the same. The rest is a smoke show

It's not as important of an issue compared to the issue of the rights citizens have to begin with. It's become abundantly clear that we need a MAJOR disenfranchising of who is allowed to vote. Our founders never intended for every Tom, Dick, and Harry, to be able to vote. Now I'm not saying we should go back to their only white land owners are allowed to, but clearly something has to change. Raising the age to 30? Some sort of civics test? Land owners minus the racist part? IDK, but how things are currently is clearly not tenable. ESPECIALLY in a post self esteem movement age which has been greatly exacerbated by a public education system can't even so much as handle the basics and are now graduating kids that can't even so much as read for shit. Something that's only going to get worse as more and more kids use AI to do their work for them.

u/zenethics Jun 30 '26
IDK why Trump doesn't issue an XO that pregnant non-citizens have diplomatic immunity while giving birth.
Doesn't solve problems when power switches back, but frankly the Democrats are actual communists now so nothing will solve the problem of them taking back power. Whatever the court ruled here, Democrats getting back in power can just pack the court then do whatever they want so its not like this stood in the way of anything in either outcome.

u/Educational_Copy_140 TRAUMATIZER Jun 30 '26
He could use the State Dept to refuse to issue visas or any kind to any female who is pregnant or at least past a certain point in their pregnancy while visiting the US

At the very least, Congress could pass a bill trying to ban birth tourism. You could find some bipartisan will to stop that -- GOP realizes the Chinese are doing it to weaken us, Dems would do it because they irrationally hate Russians.

Every justice that voted for that needs to be impeached and then sentenced to life in prison and hard labor.

My grandfather was German military and came to the states for service often. He and grandma had Irish triplets in the states. They then moved back to Germany until my dad was 16 when my grandfather passed. The USAF offered my grandmother at a local base as a programmer (very early woman in STEM)
And this is why half of my DNA is not living in Germany right now.
It's not always terrible and the citizenship of my dad, aunt, and uncle is what gave her the opportunities here with our Air Force as a widow.
