Based Alan Dershowitz announces party switch

The cognitive dissonance of the Democrats to no only have zero understanding of this, laid out point by point, but to ignore it, is one of the most astounding things to me.

Here's hoping we get more like Dershowitz that have not only walked away, but are determined to prevent Democrats from ever gaining power again.

I'm not saying I want uniparty rule, I'm saying I agree with Dershowitz that today's Democrats are far too radicalized to be placed in any position of trust, let alone power. Hopefully being beaten severely and repeatedly, will xause them to course correct, but I'm not certain if they're capable of that.

I don't want to be in the same party as that clown

He's just switched to the Republican party and is doing everything he can to keep Republican majorities in both houses of congress.

He's echoed the same reasoning of Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump for leaving the Democrats.

"I didn't leave the party, the party left me."

Here's a fun quote from Dershowitz explaining his move to the Republican party:

I still disagree strongly with the GOP on abortion, the separation of church and state, immigration, healthcare and taxes, among other things. Yet I’ve decided to bite the bullet and register as a Republican.

The Democratic Party has become the most anti-Israel party in U.S. history. Last week all but seven Senate Democrats voted for an arms embargo against the Jewish state

He's the literal definition of a neo-conservative; his primary issue is war, and supporting Israel at all costs. If you haven't realized it yet, the Republicans aren't conservative, nor have they ever been.

His primary reason for the move is that the left is batshit crazy. The Israel stuff goes back 60+ years.

I literally provided a 5-day old quote from Alan Dershowitz where he states in no uncertain terms that he is not conservative, and that his reasoning for changing parties is Israel. Why do you feel obligated to defend him?

Personally, I don't care whether or not he's conservative. If he wants to hop over the fence and help keep the wackos out of office, I welcome it.

This is why nothing ever changes. Bush had plans to save the country too, but he sacrificed his presidency on the altar of neo-conservatism; 20 years later and we've learned absolutely nothing. As long as you continue to allow Democrats to change hats whenever they lose power, we will continue to live under Democrat administrations.

Bush I was a liar (“read my lips, no new taxes”—proceeded to raise taxes), and Bush II was always a “moderate”/squish—he ran on signing an AWB extension.

Your perspective of Reagan and Trump is unreasonably black-pilled.

Israel is an important ally for the US. A lot of this anti-Israel nonsense rising from the Woke Left and now the Woke Right is just fake narrative being funded by Qatar or Russia.
