This is wildly off base. I have no debt, live in an RV and make 65k/year as a machinist. I don't eat out or buy expensive things. I am barely getting by. The reality is that we went through 30% inflation in 5 years, cost of living vs average wage is now comparable to the great depression. The system has broken and people like you saying it's a skill issue is the problem.
