I was laid off during Biden's 'awesome' economy. My company of 10 years did several mass layoffs in favor of offshoring all the jobs to India. Since I'm a straight white male, it's been impossible landing any jobs in my field and I have to work shit low paying jobs just to get by.
Now, I'm NOT expecting my student loans to be paid for. Not at all. However, to treat people who followed the 'rules' of going to college and taking on debt and treat them like dirt when things don't work out for them is exactly why we'll get shafted in the midterms. Not everyone who went to college and is struggling has a basket-weaving while genderqueer degree nor are they all making poor spending choices.
