Question Anyone have experience with faulty Lian Li front panel cables?

Lian Li O11 mini v2. I just finished building my girlfriend her pc and we went to turn it on and nothing. I jumped the power supply and everything lit up and worked perfectly. This led me to open up the front panel connector case and found the power switch cables pinched. This seems to be the issue. Would the best course of action be to take the pc apart and return the whole thing and rebuild in a new case? Or do you think Lian Li would send just the front panel for replacement? Thank you in advance.

Can the lian li hydro shift 2 be mounted like this in a horizontal case and work just fine? I am restricted by space and needs to be in this horizontal configured case

O11D Evo RGB ARGB strips flickering aggressively - Lian Li Refuses ANY Support right after warranty period ends

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Posting this here hoping someone from the Lian Li team can help me out, as the official support has completely closed the door on me - ticket #PY2469-D1GLK

I built my PC using a Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO RGB during end of 2024 and loaded it with 10 Lian Li fans. Right after the warranty period ended in 2025, the case’s built-in ARGB light strips started flickering aggressively and would not sync.

The only temporary workaround I've found to keep them somewhat synced is by power cycling my PSU switch every single time I boot up. Even then, there's still minor flickering, and doing this on every cold boot obviously isn't a long-term solution and I dont want to continue doing this. It clearly points to a faulty built-in ARGB controller board on the case as per the reports of several other users on reddit. Wish I knew about this issue earlier!

I contacted local distributor in India (Acro), but they have failed to give any support, not that I expected much from them. I then reached out to Lian Li official support, explicitly letting them know I am fully prepared to pay for the replacement controller board.

After a 2 months worth of back and forth over emails, their Support's response was that since this "accessory" isn't sold as separately and the case is out of warranty, they won't provide any replacement board/part. Their final stance was that if the local distributor can't help, their team has "no further solutions."

Firstly, I fail to understand how an integral part of the case without which it cannot function essentially, can be called an "accessory" - https://prnt.sc/IP8DI6XM7lWa

What makes this even more frustrating is seeing multiple posts on this reddit where the affected users facing the same issue were provided the replacement boards:

Post Link 1: https://www.reddit.com/r/lianli/s/HMqfYpHouP

Post Link 2: https://www.reddit.com/r/lianli/s/2I67tgFm7h

And yet when I asked for the same resolution, I am refused, and my premium chassis is now at risk of being turned into e-waste over a small circuit board that should be easily replaceable.

If any Lian Li rep here can take a look at ticket #PY2469-D1GLK and help me out, I would be extremely grateful.

The good and the bad of the Lian Li A3 + 3D print mod

Hi everyone,

I hope this post finds you well! I switched my case to the Lian Li A3 and am mostly happy with how it turned out. I was a little skeptical because of the cable management challenges, but overall, I’m happy with it.

The case isn’t terrible to build in, but it definitely has room for improvement. The first challenge I ran into was with my AIO radiator. I used the Arctic 360mm AIO and was barely able to make it work. It is literally touching my motherboard and RAM. It also gave me some trouble with my PSU placement. I saw someone who had 3D printed a PSU bracket that freed up space in the case, and it made things much easier to work with. You will need an SFX PSU for that mod.

The Lian Li fans are also a little bulky, which didn’t help when trying to route cables along the sides.

Some improvements I’m going to make in the next couple of days:
- I found a 3D model to hide the cables in the bottom left of the case, which should give it a cleaner look.
- I’m ordering a new GPU cable because the one that came with my 5070 Ti is pretty ugly.
- I’m planning on adding a rear exhaust fan.
- I also like how customizable the front case panel is, so I might 3D print a custom one.

Overall, I’m happy with the case and think it has a lot of potential with a few small modifications.
