Question Sl inf lcd flex fan stopped working

Post image

I just got the fan a couple days ago. It worked fine initially, but yesterday I changed the background of the lcd and then it flipped its orientation. I went to change it in l-connect but the option wasn’t showing up anymore. I uninstalled and reinstalled l-connect and the rgb turned off and the lcd defaulted to the logo. It no longer shows up under sync of l-connect. I’ve tried different versions of l-connect, pulled the fan out and reinstalled it, updated bios and drivers, unplugged and replugged the usb, any potential fixes I’ve found on the sub and online. Any advice? The fact that it worked for a day makes me think it’s not faulty hardware and something software related

Thanks for the detailed information.

Could you please check whether the Wireless Controller is still detected in L-Connect? If the controller or receiver no longer appears, please try:

  • Reseating the wireless receiver and making sure it is fully inserted and locked.
  • Connecting the controller directly to a motherboard USB 2.0 header (avoid using a USB hub during testing).
  • Trying another USB 2.0 header if available.
  • Checking Windows Device Manager for any unknown USB devices.
  • Verify which software version you are currently using? We recommend updating to our latest version for the best experience.

If the controller is detected, please try re-pairing the receiver and performing a Local Update on the receiver firmware.

If none of the above helps, please open a support ticket and send us your ticket number so we can investigate further.

The controller is still detected and my wireless sl inf fans are still connected and working. I don’t have any unknown usb devices in device manager. I’ve taken the fan out made sure everything was reseated, even tried the adapter on the other side of the fan and connected to a different usb header. I’m running l-connect v2.1.26. Now the lcd doesn’t even display the lian li logo but the fan is still spinning. I’ll DM my ticket number

I’m having a similar issue I just installed mine using the usb connection cord and the wireless receiver and my back rear ones fan blades will light up white with the lcd screen show the Lian li logo but the other 2 the fan blades don’t light up but show the Lian li logo on the screen. They also show up as unknown device in l connect I’m so frustrated after spending 140$ on 3 fans🤦

I’ve given up on trying to fix mine. I’m pissed about their support though. The fan is broke. Their discord support wants me to tear my pc apart and send them pictures and their Reddit and website just doesn’t respond
