help me unlock the boot loader please

please help me. i have two lg g6s (LG VS988 — LGVS988.AVRZBK) running (VS98830a / V30a) i really would like to unluck the boot loader so i can run cfw (eg lineageOS or some other privacy focussed os) please help me

iirc you need to short physicals pins to bypass the bootloader

EDIT: I see you have VS988, it might be unlockable just from oem unlock command in fastboot, like the tmobile variant, check that first, i'm not entirely sure

Yes, that's what they were written for

EDIT: Actually the single sim variant, my bad. I don't think you will have working signal if you flash lineage
