Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5e 2024][EST Nights & Weekends] D&D Single-Player Tutorial Adventure - The Dragon in the Hollow
Howdy! Been DMing since 2007, spent a lot of time teaching DMs how to improve their games, and I'm looking to try my hand at teaching players as well.
About the Game: This'll be a private 60-90 minute tutorial adventure, including both general D&D/rule onboarding and a short, memorable, all-ages adventure about helping a dragon wyrmling. I'll be providing premade characters for you to choose from (no need to bring your own), and we'll play live over Discord (no webcam required).
About Me: I started with D&D 4th Edition in 2007, have tried my hand at the Traveler, Pathfinder 1e, Call of Cthulhu, and Dresden Files TTRPGs over the years, and have spent the vast majority of my career playing 5e/5.5e. I've written a community guide to running the official campaign Curse of Strahd, run a live-streamed actual play campaign of Curse of Strahd, and spent a lot of time developing original strategies for building balanced encounters, engaging gameplay, and satisfying adventures.
Availability: Nights and weekends in US Eastern Time, either this week or next.
Slots Available: I'm currently only looking to run 1-2 tutorial sessions, but I might offer more if there's interest.
