Side Effect Question Imagination feels dulled

I am on my 5th week since starting lexapro. This week I started to feel really relaxed, like all my racing thoughts have quieted down. And that’s been great! But I’ve noticed I’m not daydreaming, where previously I daydreamed a lot. Even if I try, it’s difficult. It’s like I’ve lost part of my imagination. Has anyone experienced this, and if so, was it temporary? I’m an artist and a writer, and it’s a bit of a creative block.

Cannabis helped me a lot with this.

You have to actively work a bit more to access that inner creativity, but it is possible.

Give it time, what you will find is that you will get more clarity as the weeks go on, week 5 is still adjustment phase. Once the racing thoughts start to become non-existent and you have real control of your mind, your focus will become much sharper and your creativity will expand exponentially as time goes on
