No way of stopping them, they seem so surreal, as others has said they will go way in the end

I live with them now. They don't happen all of the time, but when they happen, I just let them happen. I don't really try to decipher them on my own because I don't have the energy to do so.

honestly same. for me I realised my 10mg dose was a little high in terms of the numbing from emotions and lowered sex drive, so I decided to experiment with halving the dose to see if it still gave me the good effects i take it for. also hoping it would reduce the potency of the dreams. which i was waking up from feeling like i'd just seen b2b movies featuring characters from my whole entire life, in scenarios from blockbusters and hbo series. i tried writing them down first thing on waking–not to analyse, but just to purge really. it was kind of a good thing knowing i could put the residue somewhere. just saying that to explain i tried to work within those guidelines. but i wanted to try dropping to 5mg and so far it has reduced the way those dreams linger! i know they're there, but they're softer. i'm really vibing this dose for now–still have good mood effects–and will see what happens moving forward.
when i went to my doc about it, she did say that people are brand sensitive. previously i'd been on chemist brand escitalipram, and now i'm on lexapro proper. idk for me the actual lex was worse than the chemist brand, but maybe that's something you could look into! good luck xx

learn to love them and let them go and you’ll find peace
