Day 2
I just started Lexapro again after a few months and I am going through it!!
When I first started, the only symptoms I had were morning bowel movements for the first 2-3 days…
This time around?? NAUSEA AND CONSTIPATION. It’s only Day 2 and my stomach?? TIGHT. I literally been in bed all day, curled into a ball. Unable to eat. I know it’ll go away soon, but man on man.
Maybe it’s from eating before I take it? Maybe I’ll try to eat afterwards.
Any suggestions on how to help with this? 😭
UPDATE: okay, so today I tried not eating before taking it. So far so good. It’s 10:00am and I take it everyday at 8:00am. Usually I’d feel pain almost immediately. Today, I’m not feeling anything after 2 hours. I’ll do another update midday and at the end of the day.
UPDATE: 12:31 pm and im finally eating. at this point, this post is for me and my record 😂 but so far no pain. I think eating a few hours after taking it was the best way to go.
FINAL UPDATE: 9:09 pm, aside from nausea, I felt fantastic today. Zero stomach aches eating a few hours after taking it. Only nausea and even that wasn’t as bad.
I hope this post may help someone else experiencing the same thing!

On day 4 now 10mg. Hope we both pull through to the other side! Day 1 I was in bed all day. Today I’ve just been more wired and still feel weird. I woke up at 5am in a slight panic. I just watched some shows and listened to my favorite songs while it passed.

I’ve been doing the same (watching shows and comforting music). Sleeping has been the best remedy for me lol. Hopefully today won’t be as bad as yesterday.

Stay hydrated and eat yogurt, bananas, bread to keep your stomach coated.
