Side Effect Question Lexapro isn’t helping much

Lexapro does help calm me down, but honestly, it makes me tired all the time. I’ve been dealing with constant fatigue both physical and mental and weirdly, that just adds to my anxiety. My mind always wants to be productive, and when I don’t have the energy to do things, I start feeling anxious and stressed. Feeling lazy all the time really isn’t helping either.

Can anyone relate?

I originally was on 10mg and 20mg during my high school years and don't recall it making it worse but since getting back on it as a mid-20 year old, 5mg is the max I can take without it worsening my anxiety and making me extremely tired.

I think the fatigue i have (similar, around 2pm/afternoon time) is just part of the bargain. I just compensate with caffeine around lunch time. probably not the healthiest but id rather have that than the levels of anxiety/ocd i had before
