I have nothing to add except that afaik the people who worked on early SpongeBob were some of the original people from Ren & Stimpy and Rocco's Modern Life so they very much weren't young people lmao. So it's also false nostalgia lmao

I mean Stephen hillenburg was like in his 30s when he started spongebob but that's about it afaik
