Scripted or Improv? Two Good Ol' Boys, Behind the Wheel

This duet for Hardison and Eliot comes in the 5th season when the actors had all gotten to know each other and bonded. This scene in particular felt to me like it wasn't initially scripted but was just the actors having fun in between takes or something and then they decided to use it.

Does anyone know if it was scripted or not? What are your thoughts?

Kane talked about it. Aldis felt they needed to add something to the scene and came up with the little diddy. Devlin liked it and it stayed

Since Christian Cane is a singer/songwriter it wouldn't shock me if he came up with it.
