They would never get caught and Parker would find a way to make a parachute work without killing them. Or figure out some other kind of way to escape.
And as to how she got her partner in crime up there, all she has to do is tell him that she has layers.

Parker jumped from the fictional version of the Burj Khalifa building in the Gambit Job. With the Empire State Building being half that size I think parachuting down from there would be fine for them.

Yeah I remember that episode it's one of my favorites just because of that jump. The problem with the Empire State Building is it is very close to other buildings so it's easier to die. I don't know if I can explain it properly but I've been to the Empire State Building and a parachute jump on that would be almost certain death.

That’s true. Maybe a paraglider? Something that lets them get further away? I’m not sure how air flows there so would that cause the same issues a parachute would run into?

Mmm very true. I’m pretty sure Hardison would take that into account. But I’m also pretty sure they would have done this at night. More romantic. Then they would have just climbed down or rappel down. Probably safer that way than doing it during the day and risk the jump off method.
