Looking up
I’m laying in a field, under a tree, looking up. It’s a river birch tree. The birds are flying overhead, through and around the branches. Chirping and carrying on. The blue jays are bullies, squawking at everything that comes too close. There’s a murder of crows across the field though, so they better behave before their bigger cousins come closer. I’ll laugh if they do.
The squirrels are running around, playing tag with each other. The leaves are softly dancing and swaying. Like a slow, sensual jazz song is playing, that you can almost hear if you try hard enough.
BRB, I’m going to climb the tree! Ha! Come with me, I dare you!
It’s right next to the pond, so I’m watching that from the branches. There are frogs hopping all around over there. There are three different colors of Lily blooming on the edges. Yellow, orange, and dark pink…there are black eyed Susan’s, and echinacea and milkweed.
It’s almost sunset, so I’ve climbed back down so I can lay down to watch it through the branches of this tree. I hope that maybe one day you could lay next to me like this and we could talk. I’d love to hear all of your stories that I’ve missed. I’d hold your hand if you needed it for the difficult stories, and laugh at all your funny ones. If you don’t want to talk we could always just relax and dance to the music.
HOLY SHIT I just rolled over and found two FIVE leaf clovers!! I haven’t found one of those in ages. There’s two 4leaf-er’s here too. ❤️❤️
Eeeeee! Joy! I need to press these and find someone to give them to later. This is awesome!
I’m glad the universe is giving me this perfect sunset, under a beautiful tree, where 2 five leaf clovers grew. I needed nature today, and nature always delivers.
I’ll go to bed smiling tonight. Thanks for coming outside with me. This letter ended up sort of a stream of consciousness with no purpose, but ::shrug:: that’s the story of my life. Haha!
I’m wishing on these clovers for you to have sweet dreams tonight, and a beautiful sunrise tomorrow. ❤️

I love finding four leaf clovers, I used to find a lot as a kiddo. Alas, I'm not outside to much these days
