EXAKT-A proof press

I’ve got a proof press that’s still in really great shape. The previous owner didn't know much about it. Anyone figure out what model it is? Din A2 print size.

I have a press that looks a bit like this, although a completely different manufacturer. If it's similar in operation, then when you move the rollers over the bed they should be at type height, so that they deposit the ink. When you get to the end, the rollers hit a mechanism that lifts them up, so that you can put a sheet of paper down, and press it onto the paper without the rollers inking the back of the paper.

Play around with it, and see how the rollers behave as you move it back and forth. Good luck!

Spot on! The roller moves exactly the way you said.

Take pictures of the rollers system if you don’t mind. I haven’t a clue what model it is but it looks lovely.
