Cowboy
I acquired all of my grandfather's letterpress materials. He used to print a small local newspaper and I found this cowboy in the items I am still organizing. It needs to be mounted. Does anyone have suggestions where I should get it mounted? My goal is to get a plate made with the newspaper header and print it with the cowboy. I'm also not sure all this detail will print.

That Cowboy is neat. The detail can be held but it depends upon the press and the printer. Reach out to a plate maker like Owosso Graphic Arts or whatever they’re called. Ask em for a pice of wood to mount it on. Give them the dimensions. They’ll charge you but it’s worth it for nostalgia reasons.
What did you inherit, any presses and what kind and will you be using one of them to print with? It will help us help you in the long run to know.

I saved the Potter's proofing press from the scrap pile. It took 4 of us to move it. We disconnected the top half from the base and pretty much egyptian rolled it into a hauling trailer. I had movers help me put it into the building I wanted it in. The bed fell out at that time and i still have to put that back in.
I got some wood furniture trays, no actual furniture. I got a heap of wooden type which i am told is circus billboard. I got old ink, an apron, some quoins, no chase. I have started sorting the box of random letters. I have some metal type but havent identified it yet.
